Gantry: a framework structure that spans multiple levels. Used to span carriageways and rail tracks to display information; to carry travelling cranes (gantry crane), bogies, and derrick cranes at an elevated level in an industrial environment; to carry pipework or to offer a walkway at an elevated height.
