CMQuebral was established in Ireland and the United Kingdom with more than 20 years of experience in civil and structural design.
We have wide-ranging structural designs for both domestic and commercial segments in Ireland. The Principal of CMQ Consulting has designed and constructed multi-storey buildings around the country (flats and offices).
In the United Kingdom, we specialise in domestic development, we have completed over 600 projects in the last 3 years ranging from simple extension to multi-storey new build properties located around England.
Meet the Team
Principal Engineer / Managing Director
Christopher worked as a part time construction labourer while studying. Having patience and perseverance as a virtue, he completed a 5 year bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Saint Louis University, Philippines and subsequently became a licensed civil engineer in 1997, after passing the Philippine Professional Regulations licensure examinations.
Christopher first worked in an office based environment in his professional capacity as a civil and structural engineer. A few years later, he was given the task to supervise the actual construction of commercial developments, such as shopping malls and high rise buildings, where he learned the difference between theoretical design and actual construction, thereby giving him the knowledge and experience to come up with practical solutions to engineering problems.
Christopher moved to Ireland in 2002 and became a Chartered Engineer in Ireland in 2008. He also Read Irish and English Law until 2013 making him knowledgeable in areas of planning law, building regulations, construction law, and partywall laws.
At present, he has designed over 100 high rise buildings and over 1000 domestic properties in the UK and Ireland.
In his free time he loves to play darts, billiards or reading books.
Maiwand, graduated with MSc Structural Design and Construction Management from Kingston University London. His attentional to details and ingenuity gave him the edge of producing excellent designs.
He designs residential new builds, extensions and alterations, using AutoCAD, MasterSeries and TEDDS for drawing and design calculations, ensuring that British Standards are observed. He joined CMQ Consulting Engineers in 2018.
Out of office, Maiwand loves to spend quality time with his family.
Ana May Jalog
Ana has been with the company since it started in 2015. Her strong professional background that spanned over 20 years gave her the confidence of looking after the business’ operation, organizing the ins and outs of the business and ensuring that clients are looked after well. A very fun personality and easy to deal with.
Ana loves to Travel with her family, also loved the outdoors and the beach.
Khris Danielle Jalog
Web Developer / IT Manager
Khris Danielle is a web developer and tinkerer. A football enthusiast and a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Christ the King College in Gingoog City, Philippines. His work experiences as a Webmaster and developer for Australia-based firms has led him to works effectively in dynamic environments.
At present, Khris has developed/designed more than 20 websites for businesses in Australia, Philippines, and the UK.
He is a food-lover and a gym-goer.
Structural CAD Technician
Arnel joined the company recently as Structural CAD Technician, he is a licensed Electrical Engineer in the Philippines.
He migrated to the United Kingdom in 2006 and has since worked in a broadcasting company, so as not to forget his passion for CAD drawings he would draw for CMQ Consulting during his free time.
Until recently, Arnel joined the company on a full time basis.
Arnel is a music enthusiast and a big fan of cycling.
