Face bedding is a process used in brick masonry where a single brick is inserted into a wall in a particular manner. The brick is laid with one side flush against the face of the wall and the other side slightly recessed. This creates a more aesthetically pleasing appearance by creating a more even wall surface. Face bedding is also used to create a stronger bond between the mortar and the brick.
