Laminate (decorative laminate, laminated plastic): A bonded-together object made up of several layers (sometimes called laminates) or heaps. Asymmetrical or symmetrical laminates are both possible. A minor plane must be located in the laminate’s plane at its middle thickness for the laminate to be considered symmetrical.
