Infrared camera (IR camera, thermal camera, thermographic camera): A gadget that uses infrared light to take images. The surface temperature is represented by the thermographic camera/thermal imaging camera’s defecting infrared radiation, which is subsequently converted into a visual image and spectrum and displayed on a monitor.
